The vision of BRACE, the Be Ready Alliance Coordinating for Emergencies is to get every individual, church, business, nonprofit and civic organization involved in ensuring our community is protected against any type of disaster. The Escambia County Division of Emergency Management is responsible for emergencies, but they cannot do it alone. There are critical services needed that require your involvement. In partnership with Emergency Management, BRACE coordinates that involvement. The current program of work includes services such as providing child care to first responders (our emergency management personnel) and continuing life-saving services to the homebound during and after a disaster (our elderly and disabled). Become a member of BRACE today and find out how you can make a difference. Visit our site, email us, or call 444-7135 for more information.
